Based in Oakland, California, Green Halo jewelry is known for being made by hand by artisans in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company is dedicated to exploring how people adorn their bodies and their lives, and in that vein strives to continuously create innovative designs.
Ashley Rogers, Owner/Designer of Green Halo Designs, has been in business for over five years and has continued to create and produce high quality jewelry for all lifestyles. Her passion for fashion jewelry started as a part-time gig, but turned into a steady growing business.
Green Halo Designs is not alone. Many small businesses spring from the desire for someone to run their own business and create their own opportunity. When that desire is turns into a reputable company that creates innovative products and great customer service, a small business can be successful. Ashley is always looking toward the future and creating more growth opportunities for her business. Areas that she focuses on include fine tuning the operations to become more efficient and increasing staffing to help develop other areas of the business. She has been able to take advantage of LinkedIn and numerous tradeshows to build significant business contacts.
Ashley Rogers recently shared her business insight at the Intuit Small Business Town Hall on May 14th, 2009. The Town Hall featured numerous Small Business owners sharing their views on how to survive and thrive despite the economic climate. 
Green Halo jewelry is made locally but can be found in various boutiques and high-end gift shops throughout the United States. In addition she has also started to expand overseas with accounts being created in Japan and Canada.
Her outgoing personality and ability to wear multiple hats has made her triumphant. On top of running her business she also supports a number of charities and educational programs that are working to make the planet a better place. Some of those organizations include: San Francisco AIDS Foundation. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.
