Over the past several months, we here at Intuit have had the opportunity to talk to thousands of small businesses about how they manage their customer relationships. We found that most small businesses keep customer information in multiple places — ranging from a notepad and sticky notes to a wall calendar, Excel spreadsheet or e-mail contact list…
QuickBooks 2010 has been out for just over a month now. While many people have already rushed out to buy the new version, we know some still want to learn more about what’s new this year, so we thought it might be helpful to share some of the early reviews. Read them for yourself to learn more!

My Intuit coworker Sherry Martin and her husband, Todd Martin (a former Intuit executive turned small business owner), have a very successful restaurant business. Their Tucson Tamale Company has been in business for about a year, and it has already received numerous rave reviews online and spotlights in various magazines! Todd told me that one of the most important financial decisions he has made as a small business owner was to make a commitment (with Sherry, of course) “not to take any money out of the business for the first two years”…
A couple of weeks ago, Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter account. And what happened? The Internet and tweens, girls aged 9-14, everywhere freaked.
Web sites clamored over why she left, and dozens of other tweens vowed to follow suit. Many were sad, many were happy, and many questioned why it was news.
That’s a question I’ve been asked several times since we launched our Intuit Websites advertising campaign last week. The ads will be airing on tv and radio throughout the fall. You can find them on a broad range of cable tv stations, as well as a variety of news, sports and music radio programs.
